If the confirmation instead shows Delete with an arrow, open the arrow menu and look for Keep anyway; do not choose Delete. Confirm the publisher is Mixamash, Inc. before opening the file. Installing a direct download
Windows SmartScreen: the direct installer may show “Windows protected your PC”. Check that you downloaded from this page, then choose “More info” → “Run anyway”. If a Microsoft Store link is shown above, that is the simpler path.
Mac Gatekeeper: open the downloaded installer. If macOS blocks it, verify the download came from this page, then open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Do not override a damaged-app or malware warning.
Compare the downloaded file's SHA-256 with the value above before installing: Windows PowerShell Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 <file>, Mac shasum -a 256 <file>, Linux sha256sum <file>.
